You MUST upgrade your application to continue using iHound on your iPad, iPhone or iPod

We have exciting news that we couldn’t wait to share.  iHound has been recently acquired by SafetyWeb, a leader in identity and safety protection for people, their families and their gadgets.

What does this mean for you?

Well, as of today there will be no more updates to the iHound app on your phone or iPad.  But don’t worry, all of the features you have come to use and love will now be available in the iHound by SafetyWeb Tracker and Geofence for Families application.

You will need to download the SafetyWeb application to receive any future feature updates.   Please be sure to delete the older version of iHound from your phone as not to drain additional power from the device.  The SafetyWeb application will showcase a host of new and exciting features for you to enjoy as well.

Because you’ve been a loyal iHound user, we’re offering you iHound by SafetyWeb Tracker and Geo-Fence for Families for FREE for the next two weeks. At the end of June, iHound will no longer run as it has in the past, unless you download the latest App. However, you must download the app in the next two weeks. After that, the free offer is no longer available.

“To uninstall an application purchased or otherwise installed from the iPhone AppStore, simply do the following:

1) hold your finger on either the icon for the application you wish to uninstall or any other icon until the icons on your home screen begin to shake or wiggle (the same action you take to move or re-arrange home screen icons)
2) click the “x” in the upper left hand corner of the icon for the application you wish to remove
3) delete the application from your iTunes applications tab
