Raptr is a social networking site whose population is video gamers. Use of Raptr includes the download and installation of a Windows-based computer program that allows users of several chat protocols, i.e., Yahoo! Instant Messenger, AIM, Facebook Chat, and more, to communicate easily and allows them to import their XBox Live, PlayStation Network or Steam accounts. Users can chat with their buddy list during game play. Via the Raptr website, users can track game play and achievements and share game related reviews, information and activity. Raptr also allows users to publish their gaming achievements on social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Plurk and FriendFeed.
